Sequence For Certification Of A Pharmacy Technician In The State Of Washington.

Submit proof of High School Graduation or GED.

Thirteen classes of didactic training for 1.5 hours per lecture, per Care Health Solutions, LLC schedule.  An average of 75% score on the final exam.  500 points possible, with 10 quizzes (100 points), 10 homework assignments (100 points), midterm (100 points) and the final test (200 points).  Homework for each lecture is expected to take 2-3 hours to complete research and questions.

All technicians in training will need to register with the Board as pharmacy assistants and must complete four clock hours of AIDS education.  Technicians in training may perform technician functions only under the immediate supervision of a pharmacist precepter of a delegated alternate pharmacist.

Upon completion of 520 hours worked, the registered pharmacist with a precepter license in the State of Washington must certify in writing to CHS Pharmacy the hours logged and a list of duties accomplished.

Four hours of AIDS education must be accomplished before application to the Board of Pharmacy for Pharmacy Technician license.

Proof of GED, the AIDS certificate, and class records will be kept on file at CHS for 2 years.
